Free training opportunity at Bangladesh-German Technical Training Center

The training process for five courses has started at the Bangladesh-German Technical Training Center. Applications for admission to the employability training course must be submitted by July 24. The training course will be conducted under the supervision of the World Bank, the Government of Bangladesh, and the Accelerated and Strengthened Skills for Economic Transformation (ASSET). The training will be provided completely free of cost by the government.

The training process has started in five courses at the Bangladesh-German Technical Training Center. Applications must be submitted by July 24 for admission to the employment-friendly training course. The training course will be conducted under the supervision of the World Bank, the Government of Bangladesh, and the Acceleration and Strengthening of Skills for Economic Transformation (ASSET). Training will be provided completely free of charge by the government in this course.

*Educational Qualification

The qualification required for the first three courses is—8th class, female and male trainees and the qualification required for the next two courses is—SSC pass, female trainees only.

*Benefits for trainees

1. Course duration is three months. 360 hours.

1. Number of seats in each course: 24.

3. Trainees will get all the benefits and allowances as per the rules of the asset project.

Short-term courses as per competency standards

1. Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM).

2. Tailoring and Dress Making.

3. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

4. Computer Operation.

5. CAD Operation.

What is required to apply

Documents to be submitted with the application

1. Three copies of recent passport size photographs of the candidate.

2. Photocopy of National Identity Card or Birth Certificate.

3. Photocopy of educational qualification.

Application details

1. Application deadline: 24 July 2025, up to 4 pm (in your own trade).

2. Admission test date: 28 July 2025, lottery or interview (in your own trade at 9 am).

3. Result publication and admission date: 29 July 2025 (in your own trade from 9 am to 4 pm)

4. Waiting list: 30 July 2025 (in your own trade from 9 am to 4 pm)

5. Class start date: 3 August 2025.
